GeckoDude Overhaul

GeckoDude is getting a complete redo. Check it out here. GeckoDude now has a matching black background, and is currently still car-focused. He only, as of today, has his Bugatti pictures up, but there will be more to come.

Newer, better website?

We are currently looking into redesigning the website. As FrontPage is obsolete now, we are looking for programs to develop with. This will take a while though, so don't expect anything.

New Video Soon!

Coming soon is a new video called Sound Battle (working title). The video has been filmed, but needs just a little more editing before it is done. I'm a little short on time today, and my computer is acting very slow, but I'm hoping to finish it today.

Up Next...

I'm not sure if you remember this, but a while ago, and I mean a LONG while ago, we started creating a website for a small Wi-Fi group we had. Well, that never happened. But, in that same vein, we are currently working on a small clan for Metroid Prime Hunters, and game we play a lot. It should be up sooner or later, but those of you waiting for a sneak peak should head over to http://www.jamco.biz/mph/main.htm. It's not up yet, but once we put it up for testing purposes, you should be able to see it.

Also, I am currently optimizing our website for faster performance. Thanks to a little widget called Page Speed by Google, it should help make our site faster and better. Currently, the only optimized pages are the ad page, the main page, and the game page. We are currently work on other pages and working harder on the three we have already progressed on. Any bugs, email me at webmaster@jamco.biz.

Coming Soon...

Josh will be uploading a new video we took recently during a thunderstorm last night. We filmed all of the thunder and lightning just before it started raining. Very cool stuff. It was a very big storm. It should be up tonight or tomorrow on his YouTube Channel.

Josh has also uploaded a new video, sort of a... spin-off of his Need for Speed: Most Wanted walkthrough. He filmed himself breaking his bounty record at a whopping $10,350,018. If you beat his record, film it and send it as a video response.

We have expressed interest in making another true live action film, but no word on what or when. If not tomorrow or Saturday, then the week of the 21st.

What's New?

Josh is still working on his Need for Speed: Most Wanted video walkthrough series. He is almost finished.

We are considering doing another video, possibly a sequel to General Customer Service Desk, but haven't had time to film anything so far.

I have found a way to export Windows Movie Maker videos as HD videos. However, it simply stretches the image. I would probably only use it for the titles, not the actual video, however, I'm not sure if that's possible.

This first few weeks of summer won't see much production. I have things going on this week, next week, and the week after. I have no idea when we are going on vacation.

J.A.M. Co. related, there's not much to say. The LEGO video pretty much went down the toilet since we had to move the set, and probably won't be able to set it up again. However, nothing was ever filmed except the intro, so that's ok.

Josh is reluctant to work on Partnered Hero's Quest/Zach's Quest/Whatever it's called now. I am kind-of-sort-of looking into different programming. C#? Maybe?

Ah yes, and my podcast. Nothing to say here, really. I have no idea what I might do next. If you haven't already checked it out, you can find it on iTunes as "Technology is your Friend." It's current episode is "How to Add Closed Captions too Your YouTube Videos."

Thanks for reading,
Mark
